Devon was our rescue girl. Her name was "Gypsy" but when her owner tied her to a tree and left her there when his trailer burned to the ground, we broke her chain and took her home and renamed her Devon. She was bone thin and starving, filthy dirty, covered in fleas and still had the sutures in her belly from the spaying she received four months earlier. (The guy's landlord had her spayed!)
