Ghost was the first dog I had fostered who didn't have any color over either eye.  She is seen above right in her forever home with her new brother Andy.  The lounge chairs were bought just for them.  Ghostie, sadly, passed in 2006.  She is running pain free and happy at the rainbow bridge.  The Ryans miss her immeasurably.
Halftime Putter or Putt-putt as we called her was a very young, silly girl that everyone loved.  She was adopted by a man and his son, but it didn't work out and one week later, she came back to Rainbow's End.  She was fostered by another volunteer for a couple of weeks and then went to her new forever home where she is very happy.  At right, Putt-Putt trying to squeeze on to the couch with Sy and Woody.
Fortress Fran by racing name, Freckles by kennel name, she was cute and very very young.  Just 22 months old.  We had this baby in our house nearly two months and she was a perfect angel.  At right, she is with her forever mom, Betty and her brother Cougar, at our reunion picnic.
Inez was just a baby herself.  Just over a year old and sweet as honey.  She walked into this house like she'd lived here all her life.  She was here only one week, but we all loved her.  At right: Inez leaving me as she was adopted at our reunion picnic, 2001.
Lida was the dog with the shortest stay before getting adopted.  She was only a year old too and came to Dragonflyte on a Friday.  The next day, my rep, Ann Whitney called to say she had a home for Lida.  I took her up to her new home on Sunday.
This girl is only three and wins the prize for the funniest name out of all my fosters...
Bubbalyssa.
She's been adopted in Northeast PA and is very happy.  She has one go funny ear and a beautiful dark brindle coat.
